“The treatment can be intimidating and full of uncertainties. I am sure that you have a lot of questions but the foremost question is ‘Why Me?’. Though I cannot answer all your questions and take away all the pain, I will try my hardest to be your guide and friend, helping you make the decisions that make sense to you.”

A Relentless War
I made up my mind very easily in medical school to be a cancer doctor. The decision to be a surgeon was a natural one. As a cancer surgeon, I am in a unique position not only to actively participate in the treatment of cancer, but also to guide other therapeutic options like chemotherapy, radiation therapy and experimental therapy to achieve the best possible outcome.
